God is Good and Greatly to be Praised!!! I'm getting ready to finish up my 2 year term as the Chair of Big Brothers and Big Sisters Board of Directors of Greater Flint on the 21st of Sept. I've been with them for 40 years and will continue until the Lord says otherwise. I have been blessed this year to be in great health, even though I've had Kidney Transplant Surgery (1/22/10) at the University of Mich Ann Arbor. And because they didn't see it functioning on the ultra sound they went back in the same night, but it still wasn't functioning. I couldn't taste or swallow solid food for 5 weeks after the surgery. Returned to U/M Ann Arbor due to dehydration in Feb. 10. The Kidney was removed on (3/2/10) after it became infected. Again I went to the hospital this time because I passed out on the way home, when they removed to much fluid from me in Dialysis, Apr. 10. The last time in hospital was the end of Apri/May, 10 for an infection in my dialysis catheter. I had to have the old one removed and one place in my groin, temporarily.
